The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) has produced a course on the Surgical Pathology of Neoplastic Diseases for close to 40 years. With this year’s 39th edition, we continue to expand the scope of the course to reflect the increasing contributions of surgical pathology, cytopathology, immunopathology, and molecular pathology. The course faculty will include the attending pathology staff from MSK along with selected clinical faculty and guest speakers. Course participants will receive a complete syllabus, including video recordings, within the MSK CME Portal. Digitized glass slides of cases for review will be included for those who opt for additional slide seminars.
Throughout this four- and one-half day course, faculty will provide an up-to-date review of the pathology of selected sub-specialty areas of neoplastic disease, including Breast, Gynecologic and Head and Neck pathology. Appropriate use of advanced diagnostic techniques such as immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology will be incorporated into the lectures, including the assessment of therapeutic biomarkers. Case presentations will also be integrated into some sessions.
Optional Interactive Slide Seminars
Finally, there will be optional, more intimate, interactive slide seminar sessions on selected topics in Breast, Gynecologic and Head and Neck pathology available for an additional charge. Please note that registration is limited for the slide seminars and they are only available for in-person registrants.

A virtual option for the course is also available for those unable to join us in person.
